COMPETITIONS |
Christmas recitals are usually held at area retirement homes or elsewhere in the community. Formal recitals are scheduled in May. Showcase Recitals are held on the last Sunday of every month during the school year at 4:00pm. Students are chosen by their teachers to perform at Showcase Recitals. |
Piano students are encouraged to participate in National Piano Guild Auditions, held locally each spring. Music students who are also enrolled in Faith Academy may be eligible to prepare a number for the ACSI music competition, usually held in April. Secondary school students may also participate in either UIL or TAPPS, within certain conditions. These competitions are usually held in February/March. |
