Jane Allen

(Ballet, Pointe) Jane's early training came from the the Royal Academy System in Canada.  She danced and taught ballet and contemporary dance at the Western Dance Theater in Vancover, Canada.  She studied further in New York at the Merce Cunningham School and the Martha Graham School.

Chandra Irvin

(Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre) Chandra studied many forms of dance including ballet, pointework, lyrical, clogging, and Broadway-style tap and jazz.  She has trained under many instructors including Gayla Chilton,  and Karen Buchholz-DePriest. She was a choreographer for the HCCT's summer 2005 family musical The Hobbit, and the 2006 production of The 1940's Radio Hour.

Shannon Turrentine

(Creative Movement) Shannon is our newest member to the Dance Staff! She is working toward her Kindermusik® certification, and is taking over the Creative Movement and Wee Tap classes this fall under tutelage of Artistic Director, Alicia Sommer. She has a great love for children and also serves on the praise team with Packsaddle Fellowship in Kingsland.

Randall Marks

(Ballet, Pointe) Randall trained at Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet and Tidewater Ballet.  He has danced professionally in leading roles with New York City's Dennis Wayne's Dance Company, Metroplitan Opera Dance Company, Connecticut Ballet, Garden State Ballet, Ballet Austin and Atlantic City Ballet.  He is currently director of dance at Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts.  His dancing, choreography and teaching has taken him to more than 62 countries around the world.

Alicia Sommer –
Artistic Director

(Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pointe)  Alicia trained in Guadalajara, Mexico, with Ballet Folklorico, and in Austin, Texas, with Ballet Austin, the University of Texas, Up With People 1986 World Tour, Austin Contemporary Dance Company, and Jose Greco’s Ricardo Garcia.  She currently dances in Argentina and studies under dance masters every summer in New York City.  She is the driving force behind Harmony's dance department, while also maintaining a career as a flight attendant and being the proud mommy of four daughters.
